My Bio

When I was a child (oh, I'd say about four or five years old), I'd always tried to make a quick buck trying to sell drawings. I thought I made it big when someone (mainly my parents) gave me a dime for a drawing. I would gloat over my piggy bank full of pennies I got for my drawings.

Nowadays, I draw for several reasons, mainly for enjoyment. :D

Now that I'm older and (not) wiser, I took more interest in photography when I hit college.

Even though I am a Science Major, I still love the arts.

When I joined dA for help with my own work, I didn't expect such an accepting group

Tarot Project

I decided to make my own tarot deck.  Hopefully this will help me improve my drawing skill, plus it's just fun! :happybounce: I don't plan on doing any coloring until my scanner is back in action, so I'll upload the drawings via my camera.  Unfortunately this means that the quality will not be as good, but it'll do the job.  What I'm doing is researching different meanings from a variety of sources to get the background as well as common symbols found in each card.  From there I go with what I think a particular card meant and draw my own interpretation off of that.  I'm going to stick with the more common Rider-Waite style, since that is the

Florida Trip

Made my way down to Panama City Beach in Florida.  One word:  Gorgeous! It was my first time out of the Midwest, and can't wait for more traveling in the future. I plan on loading more pictures, but I'll take my time because of school and work and all.... Anyways...enjoy! Jen

Trigger Happy

Hi everyone! :wave: Well, once again I went on a hiking trip with a couple buddies of mine.  This time we went to Sugarloaf and John Latsch State Park in Minnesota. :boogie: Yes, I went trigger happy on the camera again, but I got lots of great photos! :la: There are two other deviants here with photos from the same hiking trip.
